Learning about CKD-MBD

As I continue to learn about Chronic Kidney Disease-Mineral and Bone Disorder (CKD-MBD), I feel like I am in Chemistry all over again. Understanding it once when it is explained and then when I go to apply it, it totally leaves my brain!

Having this challenge of learning something new and not all situations being cookie cutter, really attracts me to Renal Nutrition.  For those new dietetic interns and even senior nutrition students, if you are looking for something that always keeps you on your toes, renal nutrition is for you.

I am also working on my Phosphorus board to help with our phosphorus over 7 goals.  I hope this board is fun and interactive for the patients.  Once completed, I hope to get a picture up on here.

As for my adventures, with bone management, it will continue to be  just that, an adventure.

  2. Thanks Diana! I am enjoying it out there! It's want I wanted to do when I first got out of college. I am very happy I am receiving this opportunity to be apart of it!
